Last night I went with a couple of friends to our neighborhood restaurant/bar in N. Palm Beach. I'd say there was less than half of their nightly crowd for this place, they removed a lot of tables, cut the bar stools in half as per the new rules. Shortly after getting there one of the waitresses starts getting in the managers face, yelling at him there's too many people in here and not everyone is social distancing enough, look at that couple over there, they're talking to each other but not 6 ft. apart blah, blah, blah. We can hear her getting in the guys face, the manager tells her everything is fine relax. So now this bitch throws a tantrum and she's calling the cops, so the cops show up and she's out in the parking lot complaining to the cops about how no one is social distancing. So the cops walk in and they look around, they walk back over to her and basically tell her, everything looks OK to us and perhaps you should look for another career. They told her if she wanted to go back in and get her things they would escort her out. She stormed back in and when she was storming back out she got a standing "Ovation" from the patrons!!!! Sadly, this may be the new life for restaurants !!!!!!!

Fk her. Sounds to me that the ovation was because she was leaving.

Ran into something similar at the Post Office a couple of weeks ago. If you're too spooked to be around people stay the fk home. You're in the wrong job.

I can maybe see big name franchises have workers like this, but can't see local family owned businesses having workers acting like her.

That was definitely a mock clap for that bitch LOL

If she is afraid to be there then stay home or get another job

Not her place to tell people what to do

Manager was being nice to her should have fired her on the spot getting in his face, yelling, and causing a scene in
the restaurant

Nobody wants a sorry, crying ass bitching about enforcing rules when they don't believe in the rules anyway. They want to go out and relax over a nice dinner.

Many, many of us just want to do things the way we were doing things a few months ago. Many of us don't believe that this "super virus" is a likely threat to us. We believe that its totally overhyped.

If you think otherwise, we don't care. Stay home. That would apply to workers and diners. Let the rest of us get back to our normal lives. Simple.

They were cheering because she was leaving. Obviously. Those overly paranoid about the virus (the ones who want to stay locked down) or going to be awfully pissed when they finally get out to see that most of the people out and about aren't too worried about social distancing, wearing masks. Etc etc.

I'll tell you exactly who she was complaining about MOB, the husband and wife who were sitting at a 2 person table sitting less than 6 ft., apart talking to each other and a group of friends standing at the corner of the bar who were less than the 30 square feet apart trying to talk to each other. And yes Mob, everyone in that space heard this bitch screaming at the manager, like a F'ing loser, the cops escorted her in to get her purse and the "WHOLE F"ing PLACE" gave that bitch a standing "OVATION" to get the F'CK out the door. Gods' Honest Truth and we need more of it or we are doomed as a Country!!!!
